1: 1. Artistic practice of industrial miniaturization
This project customizes a 1:50 scale sand table model of a thermal power plant for an energy group, achieving a 90% structural restoration degree through 3D scanning combined with manual craftsmanship. The core breakthrough lies in the use of hierarchical construction method to decompose complex industrial facilities into five modules: building clusters, coal transportation systems, steam turbine units, cooling towers, and power transmission devices, which are synchronously manufactured.
Materials Revolution and Basic Construction
Main body of the building: ABS board laser cutting skeleton is selected, the exterior walls are covered with 3D printed sandstone texture, and LED light strips are embedded inside the chimney to simulate smoke flow
Pipeline network: Specially made copper pipes undergo acid corrosion treatment to form an oxide layer, perfectly replicating the metallic texture and rust marks of real pipelines
Coal conveyor belt: Graphite powder is spread on the surface of silicone tracks, and a slow speed of 0.5cm/s is achieved through micro motors
▌ Detail craftsmanship
Boiler group: Etched steel sheets are stacked inside the acrylic transparent cover, presenting a 16 layer combustion chamber cross-sectional structure
Condensation zone: using liquid resin infusion technology, manually carving wavy water vapor textures after curing
Factory environment: Crushed real coal slag is used as raw material for yard paving, and micro vegetation is cultivated using moss spore cultivation technology
Dynamic Light and Shadow System
Day night mode: 200 sets of programmable LEDs simulate changes in factory lighting during different time periods
Fault demonstration: Trigger local red light alarm through magnetic switch, synchronously stop the operation of related modules
Steam effect: Hidden ultrasonic atomizer generates periodic water mist in the cooling tower area
Military grade coloring standard
Seven layer coloring scheme using automotive spraying technology:
Primer layer: epoxy resin anti-seepage treatment
Main color layer: Industrial ash content area modulation (control room blue gray, boiler area brown gray)
Corrosion layer: Sponge point color method simulates equipment oxidation
Highlight layer: apply pen coating to highlight metal seams
Dust layer: electrostatic flocking process shows coal ash deposition
Protective layer: Matte UV cured paint with anti fingerprint treatment
Oil stain layer: resin droplet simulation equipment oil leakage point
