1. Preliminary preparation: Requirements and design

Requirements research: Clarify the theme of the sand table (such as "Low-carbon Energy System"), organize and display the core elements (energy production, transmission, user end, recycling, etc.), and determine the scale and function (static display/dynamic demonstration).

Scheme design: Draw the general layout plan, plan the layout of buildings, equipment, and pipelines; design the logic of energy flow (such as solar energy → energy storage → users) and material flow (such as reclaimed water → sewage treatment → reuse); mark dimensions, materials, and lighting effects (such as distinguishing different energy sources with colored pipelines).

II. Preparation of Materials and Equipment

Basic materials: model baseboard (wood/acrylic), architectural model (customized/finished product), energy equipment model (gas internal combustion engine, solar panel, energy storage device, etc.), pipeline (colored acrylic tube/LED strip), lighting components (LED beads, controller), vegetation (simulated turf, tree model), signboard (acrylic/metal).

Equipment and Tools: Laser cutting machine (for processing building/equipment contours), hot melt glue gun (for bonding), electric drill (for drilling), welding machine (for assembling metal parts), circuit tester (for testing circuits during dynamic demonstrations).

III. Production process: step-by-step assembly

(1) Base plate and building foundation

Process the building base with a laser cutting machine, mark the building position on the base plate according to the design drawing, and fix the base with hot melt adhesive.

Assemble architectural models (such as residential buildings, schools, and commercial facilities), ensuring proportional harmony and consistent style, and affix them onto the base.

(II) Energy equipment and pipelines

Equipment assembly: Customize models of gas internal combustion engines, energy storage devices, etc., weld metal brackets, and affix them to corresponding positions on the base plate; scale down solar panels, wind turbines, etc., and install them beside the building/on independent supports.

Pipeline laying: Use colored acrylic tubes/LED light strips to simulate energy flow (such as solar energy → energy storage → users) according to the design diagram, and fix the pipelines with hot melt adhesive; distinguish material flows such as reclaimed water, sewage, and carbon dioxide with different colored pipelines, and lay them along the preset path on the bottom plate.

(III) Lighting and dynamic demonstration (optional)

Lighting design: LED beads are installed inside the building to simulate lighting; LED strips are embedded in the pipelines to display energy flow when powered on; lighting is added to equipment (such as gas internal combustion engines) to simulate their operating status.

Circuit connection: Connect LED strips in series/parallel, connect a controller (such as a timer, remote control), test the lighting sequence and brightness, and ensure clear logic for dynamic demonstrations (such as after solar power generation, the energy storage lights up, and then transmits to the user end).

(IV) Details and decoration

Vegetation and Signage: Paste simulated turf and tree models to create a natural atmosphere; fabricate acrylic signboards (such as "Low-Carbon City Launch Area User" and "Solar Energy") and fix them in the corresponding areas with hot melt adhesive.

Detail optimization: Adjust the building angle and pipeline routing to ensure visual harmony; test lighting and pipeline connections, and correct any flaws.

IV. Debugging and Delivery

Functional testing: Power-on test of lights, dynamic demonstration, inspection of pipeline connections and accuracy of markings, and correction of faults.

Delivery and acceptance: Confirm that the model meets the design requirements, demonstrate the functionality to the client, and complete the handover.
