Small Ship Model Mass Production Process Flow
Our factory employs modern precision manufacturing technology to specialise in the production of high-precision ship models at a 1:100 scale, ensuring a reproduction accuracy of over 90% even under mass production conditions. The following is the complete standardised production process:

1. Mould Development and Material Preparation
Precision Mould Manufacturing:
Five-axis CNC machine tools are used to process the aluminium master mould of the ship's hull, perfectly reproducing the streamlined waterline of the actual vessel
Deck details are laser-engraved to precisely replicate small features such as rivets and hatches
Developing a modular mould system for quick replacement of components for different ship types
Material Selection:
The main hull is injection-moulded using high-strength ABS plastic
Upper structures are 3D-printed using high-precision photopolymer resin
Masts, railings, and other slender components are produced using stainless steel etching processes
2. Mass Production Process
Injection moulding:
Fully automatic injection moulding machines produce hull sections
Each moulding cycle can simultaneously produce 4–6 hull components
An internal cooling system ensures dimensional stability
Surface treatment:
Robotic arms automatically grind to remove mould lines
Ultrasonic cleaning removes release agent residues
Manual finishing of critical areas ensures perfect details
Modular assembly:
Pre-assembly lines complete hull assembly
Magnetic deck equipment installation system
Rotatable radar, movable boom, and other special structures
III. Professional Painting Process
Primer Treatment:
The entire ship is sprayed with grey water-based putty
Infrared drying system accelerates curing
Quality inspectors check and fill in minor defects
Colour Separation Spraying:
Robotic arms precisely spray the main colour
Manual masking and spraying of waterlines, decks, and other special areas
Multi-layer gradient effect treatment
