Grand Piano Display Model Production Case

1. Demand Sorting and Preliminary Preparation

The customer’s requirement focuses on static display scenarios. The model needs to accurately restore the overall outline of the grand piano, the curved opening structure, the curved shape of the box and the supporting structure of piano legs. It can be independently placed on the booth for display, taking both glossy paint texture and model structural stability into account, suitable for exhibition transportation and long-term display in exhibition halls. We first disassemble the prototype drawings and real photos, and divide the model into four core modules: curved top cover assembly, piano main box assembly, keyboard panel assembly and vertical supporting leg assembly, clarifying the production proportion and visual display focus of each module.

2. Material Selection and Model Production Process

We select model-making materials according to the grand piano prototype. The main box is processed and the curved contour is polished to restore the smooth curved shell shape. The curved top cover and supporting strut are separately formed, and the opening and closing structure is reproduced according to the prototype. The piano leg components are separately processed to ensure stable placement of the whole model. After finishing all parts, we carry out overall assembly and adjustment. The surface is polished repeatedly, sprayed with high-gloss black piano paint and multi-layer polished to form mirror luster. We refine details such as shell edges and splicing gaps to complete the assembly of the whole grand piano model.

3. Finished Product Effect and Display Application

After assembly, the grand piano model achieves a high shape restoration rate. The curved piano box, curved top cover and glossy paint texture are complete, which can intuitively show the elegant appearance design of the horizontal piano. The model has a solid structure and high-grade paint texture. It is suitable for long-term display in musical instrument pavilions, cultural and creative exhibition halls, art fairs and enterprise reception halls. It can also be used for musical instrument brand promotion and cultural tourism art project exchange.
