1、 Material selection
Main framework: The body frame is made of ABS engineering plastic sheet, with a thickness of 0.5mm, which combines strength and plasticity; The car window is made of 0.3mm acrylic sheet, which has been laser cut and has smooth edges without burrs.
Detail components: The seat is made of PVC soft material, simulating the real fabric texture; The wheels are made of aluminum alloy material and are chrome plated on the surface after lathe processing; The headlight assembly uses LED beads combined with a light guide plate to simulate real lighting effects.
Auxiliary materials: Magnetic connection device enables quick disassembly and assembly of the front and rear of the car. The track is made of zinc alloy die-casting and the surface is sandblasted to enhance its texture.
2、 Production process
Vehicle body shaping: ABS board is shaped by a hot bending machine and positioned with the mold to ensure precise curvature. The seams of the vehicle body are embedded and welded with 0.1mm copper wire, which is almost invisible after polishing.
Detail depiction: Use 0.2mm etching film to make skirt ventilation openings, and fix them with ultraviolet glue. The seat is made of PVC soft material, which is molded by a mold and then sprayed with paint to simulate the texture of fabric.
Assembly and debugging: Pre embedded weight blocks are installed inside the vehicle body to ensure that the center of gravity of the model conforms to the true proportion of the bus. After installation, the wheelset is calibrated using a laser rangefinder to ensure smooth operation.
3、 Post processing and coloring
Basic treatment: After polishing the car body with 600 grit sandpaper, spray gray primer to fill in small defects. Key areas such as the front of the car and the skirt are positioned with a 0.5mm cover tape to achieve color separation and spraying.
Painting process: The main color is matte metallic paint, and multiple layers are applied with a spray pen to form a gradient effect. The blue waistline is positioned with a 0.5mm cover tape, and the edges are sharp after wiping with alcohol cotton.
Aging treatment: Lightly sweep light gray powder paint on areas prone to dust accumulation such as the roof and bogie to simulate natural wear and tear. Use dark stain solution around the headlight assembly to enhance its three-dimensional effect, and finally spray matte protective paint.
4、 Model features
Restoration degree: Achieve 90% restoration degree through scaling and detail replication. The key features such as streamlined design of the front of the car and bogie structure are faithful to the prototype.
Mobility: Magnetic connection supports rapid reassembly, and the contact surface between the wheelset and the track is specially treated to ensure smooth operation.
Display effect: Paired with LED lighting system and customized display stand, it can simulate dynamic effects during movement and is suitable as a collectible or teaching model.
