1、 Material selection: Only by selecting the right "foundation" can the degree of restoration be guaranteed
The material is the foundation for making such lighthouse models. We have chosen environmentally friendly resin as the main material - it is lightweight and easy to shape, and can accurately replicate the cylindrical tower body and multi-layer structure of the lighthouse; The red top cover at the top of the tower is made of weather resistant acrylic, which ensures bright colors and can resist daily friction; The base part is made of high-quality wood, which not only enhances the texture but also makes the model more stable. All materials are rigorously screened to ensure a balance between durability and aesthetics.
2、 Production process: from "drawings" to "three-dimensional", every step is meticulous
Modeling and layering: First, based on the real-life photos of Nansha Lighthouse, use 3D software to disassemble the structure (tower body segmentation, lampshade hierarchy, base shape), and then divide the model into modules such as "tower body, lampshade, top cover, base" to ensure that the proportions of each part are consistent with the real lighthouse.
Mold forming: Pour resin into a customized mold and use "constant temperature curing+demolding" to shape components such as the tower body and lampshade. Strictly control temperature and time during the process to avoid deformation; After demolding, use sandpaper to polish layer by layer to make the surface smooth as a mirror.
Assembly connection: The tower body is segmented and bonded with environmentally friendly glue. The connection between the lampshade and the tower body, as well as the top cover and lampshade, is double fixed with "buckles+glue", which is both firm and restores the "layered feeling" of the real lighthouse.
3、 Post processing: coloring and detailing to bring the model to life
Coloring process:
Main body of the tower: First brush white primer, then spray "white topcoat" with a professional spray gun, repeating 2-3 times to make the color uniform and full;
Red stripes: Accurately painted with red weather resistant paint, each stripe is strictly aligned with the tower body segment to ensure the "red white ratio" is consistent with the real lighthouse;
Top cover: The acrylic top cover is first polished and polished, and then sprayed with bright red paint to make the color bright and glossy.
Detail carving:
Texture of Tower Body: Using fine sandpaper to simulate the "traces of time" of a real lighthouse, giving the surface a natural frosted feel;
Base engraving: On a wooden base, laser engrave the words "Nansha Lighthouse" with clear and uniform font depth, restoring the cultural identity of the lighthouse.
4、 Quality Inspection and Packaging: Ensuring Customers Receive 'Perfect Products'
After each model is completed, it needs to undergo three rounds of quality inspection: visual inspection (color uniformity, detail integrity), structural inspection (firmness of each component), and lighting testing (if equipped with lighting). After passing the inspection, use customized foam lining+hard carton packaging to prevent bumping during transportation and ensure that the models received by customers are as exquisite as "factory products".
