Case study on the production of integrated sand table model for light storage and charging
1、 Project Background
This case focuses on the integrated energy scenario of photovoltaic storage and charging, and uses a sand table model to restore the collaborative operation logic of "photovoltaic power generation → energy storage system → charging facilities", providing a visual carrier for energy enterprises to showcase, educate and popularize science, and plan demonstrations. The model is centered around the layout of "photovoltaic carport+energy storage equipment+charging parking space" in the picture, with a reproduction rate of over 90%, and a size of approximately 3 meters x 2 meters x 1.2 meters (including the pedestal).
2、 Material selection and process logic
1. Basic framework and terrain
Framework: The main body is constructed using aluminum alloy profiles, with wooden boards assisting in supporting heavy-duty components such as energy storage equipment to ensure structural stability.
Terrain: High density foam board cuts out the undulation of the ground, flocking paper simulates lawn, sandpaper simulates bare soil, blue acrylic+water pump realizes the circulation of water area, restoring the texture of outdoor scenes.
2. Photovoltaic carport system
Photovoltaic panel: made of pearl glass and engineering plastic composite, with a matte surface treatment that simulates the texture of a real photovoltaic panel; The bracket uses a micro reduction motor to achieve angle adjustment and simulate a tracking system.
Car shed structure: Metal profiles are used to build brackets, and white acrylic panels are used as roofs to restore the sun shading and power generation functions of the car shed.
3. Energy storage and charging facilities
Energy storage equipment: ABS board CNC carved shell, internal transparent acrylic display battery layered structure, metal material wrapped shell simulates industrial texture.
Charging station: Copper plastic wire is used to construct the circuit, and LED light strips simulate the charging state; The charging pile body is made of white acrylic and metal parts, restoring the true form of charging facilities.
4. Traffic and environmental details
Vehicle: Resin materials are used to make car and truck models, and white paint is applied to restore the body of the vehicle; The tires are made of rubber material and the details are hand polished.
Road and Greening: Gray acrylic board+white paint to draw parking lines, green plush paper+simulated tree stumps to simulate green belts, restoring the order and environment of the parking lot.
3、 Production process and post-processing
1. Basic framework construction
Aluminum alloy profiles are welded into the main frame, and wooden boards are used to reinforce the support points of energy storage equipment. After calibration with a level, the structure is ensured to be stable.
2. Terrain and landform shaping
Foam board cut the terrain contour, layered superposition+hot melt adhesive bonding simulation fluctuations; Flocking paper, sandpaper, and organic glass are respectively attached to the ground, bare soil, and water bodies, and a water pump is used to achieve water circulation.
3. Production of energy facilities
Photovoltaic panels: Pearl glass is cut into standard sizes and arranged in a matrix; The bracket uses a micro motor to achieve angle adjustment.
Energy storage equipment: ABS board carved shell, internal acrylic display battery structure, metal material wrapped shell.
Charging station: Copper plastic wire is used to construct the circuit, and LED light strips simulate the charging state; Acrylic and metal components are used to make the charging pile body.
4. Electrical system integration
Fine copper wire is used as a wire to connect various devices, and the colors distinguish the lines (red high voltage, blue low voltage); Programming the lighting control system to achieve dynamic color separation demonstration, with micro indicator lights installed at key nodes.
5. Post processing and coloring
Surface treatment: Sandblasting increases the adhesion of metal parts, sandpaper gradually smooths them, and polishing agents treat transparent parts.
Coloring process: Primer → Spray metal paint (matte gray for photovoltaic panels, industrial blue for energy storage equipment) → Hand drawn details (labels, warning signs) → UV protective layer to prevent fading.
Special effects: Etching process for equipment nameplates, laser engraving technology for transparent panel operation interface, locally electroplated protruding buttons and switches.
