Photovoltaic Power Generation Sand Table Model Production Process Plan
I. Core Production Process
Foundation Structure Production
5mm aviation-grade acrylic sheets are laser-cut to form the terrain contours, and thermal bending techniques are used to shape natural undulations such as hillsides and river valleys.
Building frameworks are CNC-machined from ABS engineering plastic, with tolerances controlled within ±0.2mm.
Power transmission towers are assembled using 304 stainless steel etched plates, with a brushed finish to simulate the texture of real metal.
Photovoltaic Array Reproduction
Solar panel units are made from semi-transparent polycarbonate with vacuum-coated surfaces, featuring UV-printed grid patterns.
The support system replicates the anodised aluminium alloy process at a 1:100 scale, with adjustable angles achieved via micro rivets.
A magnetic base design is adopted for easy maintenance and replacement.
Scene refinement
The vegetation layer uses electrostatic flocking technology, with three coats of environmentally friendly grass powder in different shades.
The road system is first coated with atomised grey to create an asphalt particle texture, then sprayed with a matte protective paint.
Water effects are achieved through layered epoxy resin casting, with embedded LED cold light sources to simulate ripples.
II. Special process applications
Light and shadow simulation system: optical fibres are embedded beneath an acrylic substrate, with PWM dimming controllers to achieve sunrise and sunset lighting effects
Dynamic components: micro stepper motors drive portions of photovoltaic panels to achieve 15°-60° elevation angle changes
Treatment: natural mineral pigments are used for ageing treatment, with a focus on highlighting oxidation traces at equipment joints
III. Colour Management System
Main Colour Tone Control
Photovoltaic panels use Pantone 7540C standard blue-grey gradient
The building complex uses RAL 7035 light grey as the base tone with a cement-like texture.
The vegetation area is adjusted based on satellite map data to create six shades of green transition.
Special Effect Layer
The inverter surface is treated with pearlescent powder sprinkling.
The transformer area features hand-painted high-temperature oxidation spots.
The cable trenches are treated with enamel stain wash to enhance shadows.
